CSU Spur Drone Aviation Summer Program 2024

Colorado State University and the CSU Drone Center, in collaboration with CSU Spur and the Colorado Air & Space Port, is proud to announce the 2024 Drone Aviation Pathways Summer Program for Denver-region high school students and instructors! Spend 5 days at the CSU Spur campus just outside of Downtown Denver, and attend the immersive CSU Drone Flight School, where you’ll learn to fly many types of un-crewed aircraft and gain the knowledge and experience necessary to pass the FAA Part 107 exam and be certified as a Remote Pilot!  

Curriculum includes classroom instruction, actual hands-on flight time, engaging lectures and 
breakout sessions, and real-world mission-planning scenarios with our UAV aircraft! 
High school teachers / instructors will receive curriculum development materials as well as support to help facilitate future educational programming upon return to their home 
institutions. 

This program is presented at zero cost to participating institutions and students, and includes 
tuition, lunches, classroom materials, and FAA testing costs.

This program will run three separate sessions, June 24-28, July 8-July 12, and July 29 - August 2 of 2024. 
Class size is very limited, some restrictions exist.
