Ram Transfer Academy is for Front Range Community College (FRCC) students who will complete at least two (2) semesters at FRCC before transferring to Colorado State University (CSU). While this pathway program may best serve first-time college students just starting at FRCC, current FRCC students and students with prior college work are welcome to participate.
Join a community of future Rams, participate in CSU Fort Collins campus activities, and get a head start on achieving your goals at CSU. The Ram Transfer Academy is designed to make transferring to CSU easier, and includes a variety of resources and supports to help you along the way.
To ensure you meet eligibility requirements, answer the questions below and continue to the application if you are eligible. Contact the Ram Transfer Academy team if you have any questions about your eligibility or interest in transferring to CSU. We are not currently accepting ASCENT or concurrent enrollment students.

Learn more about residency classification:
Please note that CSU is more stringent in our application of state residency guidelines, and it’s possible for someone who was classified as a Colorado resident by FRCC to be classified as a non-resident at CSU.
CSU Housing is NOT FREE if selected for the Ram Transfer Academy but it is an option students have. The student is responsible for paying for their own housing costs if they decide to live at CSU while attending FRCC classes. Visit the CSU Housing website to learn more about housing rates and meal plan options.
If you are interested in paying for CSU residence halls, you must submit your final, official high school transcript with your date of graduation or your official GED (or equivalent) transcript to CSU at least one month prior to the start of the term you want to live on campus. View Instructions for submitting transcripts to CSU. We will contact you with a separate CSU housing application once you have submitted these transcripts.
Are you interested in CSU housing while you take FRCC classes?
