We can hear u
OK, so we're just going to get started.
So before before we begin my name is Sade Oshii. I am one of the education abroad coordinators here at Colorado State University. We also have with us as my colleague George. He is also an education abroad coordinator in our office and he is going to be the chat monitor for today. So if you all have any questions at any point please chat them into the chat box and make sure you you know where that is.
Located on your end and I will save all questions until the very end. However, if there's any questions throughout the duration of this presentation, fill free to ask. I'm more than happy and more than willing to answer those questions once the presentation ends. Also, if you need closed captioning, closed captioning is an option. Just make sure that you located on your end. Again, it's weird. It's interesting thing about slate is.
If I were to turn close captioning on on my end, I would only be able to see the captions. You all wouldn't, so that means that if you need closed captions, you just need to turn them on on your end.
Also, before we actually start the presentation, I just want to give be land acknowledgement so Csus land acknowledgement is a statement crafted by a variety of indigenous faculty and staff as well as other CSU officials. The statement recognizes the long history of native people and nations that lived in stewarded the land where the University now resides.
The land acknowledgement statement also maintains a connection to native people and nations that are still part of this land today.
So with that said, I would like to see if this works. I didn't have an opportunity beforehand to test it out, but I would like to show you all the actual land acknowledgement video. If it doesn't work, I'll make sure that the chat monitor or myself, moderator or myself is able to get you the link to that, but let's just try it and see.
Pay and you'll have to just tell me if you cannot hear it, but I am going to play it.
George Agras
10:08:19 AM
Jackson: there is no sound unfortunately, apologies.
Sorry that there wasn't any sound. Thank you Jackson for letting me know that I will make sure the link is included. I was pretty sure that we may not have sound with it just because it's a bit tricky, but at least there were subtitles as part of the video. So again I can have.
My chat, the chat monitor moderate are link it for me or I can do it towards the end of this presentation so.
Let's get started. So before we launch into all of the the in's and outs of education abroad, I would like to know who is all in the room. So in the chat box, if you can just state your name you can say like where you're virtually listening to this session at and if you're wanting to study abroad in the future or near future, kind of just type in some places.
George Agras
10:10:02 AM
Here is the link to the video: https://landacknowledgment.colostate.edu/
That you are thinking about some regions or locations that you're interested in. It definitely doesn't have to be definitive, but just some areas you're thinking about exploring.

10:10:14 AM
Savannah Storms, Colorado Springs, I'm thinking about Australia/Oceania, Asia
Molly Fickes
10:10:17 AM
Molly, Golden CO and I am interested in Semester at Sea!!
OK, so by the end of this presentation you are going to know the what, why, when, where and how of education abroad. So I'm actually delighted to come and talk to you today. A little bit more about education abroad and what that means in the opportunities that are out there.
OK, so just a little bit of stats here.
Aahil Rashid
10:11:01 AM
I'm Aahil, from Bangladesh.
10:11:02 AM
Brooke, littleton, I want to go to Spain or South America
So our office actually changed the name from study abroad to education abroad and there were a couple of reasons why we did that. The first reason is because we felt like study abroad. The name study abroad wasn't encompassing all there was to actually gain through education abroad experience. So some students. They just think that education abroad is solely for studying abroad taking classes abroad.
It is, but in addition to actually taking classes in another country, you can do intern ships. You can research abroad. You can have service learning activities or service learning components while you're abroad, so there's so much that encompass is actually that education abroad opportunity in experience. So that's why we ended up changing the name, and we felt like education abroad just encompassed all those things and a lot more.
So we also have another pretty pretty nice stat one in five CSU grant CSU graduates have an international experience. This is like really great for us. It's really helpful so that we know it kind of pulse like what our students attracted to. What are they wanting to do in terms of furthering their academic knowledge as well as some of those personal and interpersonal and cultural.
Competences that maybe they had, while that they have an interest about while they're here at CSU.
OK, so So what do so? This is a question for you all. You definitely don't have to respond back to it, but to think about it, what do I gain from education abroad experience? Well, you might be asking yourself that, especially as you're thinking about education abroad, you're thinking about going abroad. These are one. This is one of the questions that does come up. I know it's come up for myself when I thought about.
An education abroad. When I was an undergrad.
So there are a variety of academic career and personal benefits to education abroad.
It can really prepare you to work in a global world with a global mindset. Gain adaptability increased yourself confidence influencing.
I'm sorry your self confidence and flexibility and develop new skills to take with you after graduation so it can challenge you to grow a new ways like communicating in another language, interacting with people from different backgrounds, backgrounds in dealing with ambiguity so I can give you an example of myself.
I advised for Spain and Portugal probably didn't say that in the beginning, so my apologies. So I my regions that I advise students about are in Spain in Portugal, but I actually studied abroad in Nairobi, Kenya. So while I was in Kenya I actually did a lot of things. I'm not only took classes abroad but I also participated in an internship experience where I was teaching English and then I also worked.
I was part of, I guess my other internship would be so. The teaching English could say you could say that that was like more of alert service learning opportunity. But when I got to work in the laboratory, that was my internship component.
Aahil Rashid
10:14:24 AM
I'm Aahil, from Bangladesh. I'm planning to apply for next fall at Colorado State University for Data Science.
And while I was doing that internship, I was able to really grasp a global view of healthcare abroad. It was fascinating and I I was all it was all hands on. So I was testing for malaria and tuberculosis.
And I also had an opportunity to be with the home stay, so I stayed with a host family, learn to keep some Kiswahili, and it was just a really great experience for me to not only gain it in the moment, but I also thought about how can I start? How could I apply the experiences that I gained abroad now that I'm back in the US now that I'm applying for Employment Post graduation. Now that I'm thinking about.
Graduate School, how can I make all of these experiences that I gained abroad applicable and put them on my resume? Talk about them during a job interview or Graduate School interview? So those are some of the things that you want to think about. Not only here now, but how that's gonna really impact your future post graduation.
Also, it's a It's a common myth that we do here a lot in the education abroad field about oh I can't study abroad 'cause it's going to delay my graduation.
That's not true. In fact, recent CSU Studies a CSU study found that those who had an education abroad experience graduated at the same rate, if not quicker than the CSC students that did not go abroad. So that's huge. I mean that that was a CSU study, so it just all the more. If you have the opportunity. If you have the interest and you really want to expand yourself in multiple ways, education abroad is the way to go.
OK, so this slide is pretty cool 'cause it shows the CSU Rams that are actually going abroad all over the world. So we have over 900 programs in over 80 countries. And the cool thing about it is that we actually have students that go to all seven continents.
So in addition to all the different places students can go abroad, we have multiple terms that students go abroad, so it's not only semester. An academic year, we have calendar year. We have summer break. We have fall break. We have spring break. We have. I think that covered all of 'em so semester winter break Bob break summer academic year.
It's really cool. The other really cool thing about education abroad programs is that you can go for a week all the way up to 15 weeks to a year, and we have a lot of short-term programs that I'll talk about later in this presentation that are just three to four weeks and students that might have, you know, for whatever reasons, or, you know your graduate plan is just really you can only get it. Get a study abroad education abroad opportunity in for.
A summer we have programs that are four weeks in the summer, so there's just a huge platform of the different experiences, different terms, different timelines that you can participate in an education abroad experience. So don't let that myth detour you from education abroad. If we really, really want to do this.
The other myth really quick before I go to the next slide is that some students think that you need to have a language prerequisite before you study before you go abroad. That's not true. I advise for Spain and Portugal in a number of my colleagues advised for different regions and there are going to be a few programs that are the exception where you might need to have that French language.
Review requisite before you go, but the mass majority of programs have a non. They have an English curriculum which means you can take classes in English and or another language. I know for Spain Spain is so popular because students because the way the curriculum is set up a lot of courses are offered in English.
And so also, like Thailand, is another place where you have business students that are studying in Thailand or you have engineering students. That's also another big area for for Spain as well, because of course, because those classes are taught in English so.
Just things to think about, but don't don't don't think that you can't study abroad unless you've had an English. I mean, unless you've had a language because that's definitely not true.
OK, so are recommended programs.
So nearly every CSU Department now.
Has a recommended program abroad list and so we created these lists in partnership with academic department's so that it could be accessible for students on our website and for some of those color. It's by breakdown of college. So for some colleges we list like recommended programs as just a way for students to start exploring.
All the programs are tailored to the courses or their major.
I'll let you know right now that not every major is in the recommended program list, but it's a good way to get started, and I often refer students and go through the recommended program list with students just to see what pops out first before taking them through other avenues of exploring programs. But it's a really good way to just see what is in correlation with your major an if your major is not listed in the recommended program list.
There's other avenues to search for programs based on your major as well.
OK, so let's talk about program types. So as I said before, you already know that you can study abroad multiple terms, so summer fall, winter break, and then you know that a lot of the programs are also in English, so there's no language prereq.
So the breakdown with these programs is there's loads of programs.
And that's a good thing, because like I said, we partner with other programs and you know, program partnerships to make sure that students have a wide variety of selections.
So we have this. We have this sector called CSU sponsored or exchange programs and these are basically I want you to imagine.
So your isn't exchange there is. You're going to University in Qatar College. Broad Ann. You're taking courses there and then there's going to be a student from like let's say South Africa, the University of Cape Town. They're going to come to the CSU while you go to the University of Cape Town. So as an exchange, you're going to be paying the same. You're going to be paying the same tuition that you would pay here.
Get CSU, so that's basically the name is telling. Its literally swapping places you're going to. You're going to college or University that a student.
Who's from there would be going to and then they're going to CSU so.
And then faculty LED program. So these are faculty and staff. Let programs. These are our short-term programs and these could take place from anywhere from a week to three or four weeks. The nice thing about faculty and staff left programs there, CSU programs, and so you would be going with a group of students that are also from CSU. Sometimes we will have guests participants.
But primarily you're going with other CSU students, and you're being accompanied by either a program leader or program leaders. This could be a staff person, or it could be a professor or professors, and the curriculum is already set up and built up for you, so you're not like selecting your own coursework and then you have an already built itinerary. So basically, you're going to know everything that you're doing day today, of course.
The itinerary is subject to change, but you'll know on a daily basis what excursions and activities are or projects or academic readings. You would be required to Mountain Dew.
And then we have our CSU affiliate programs and basically these are.
Again, our program partnerships and they offer a variety of courses and programs, and so they just expand the plethora of things that students can do program students can pursue, and you'll see like once you start exploring our website and exploring programs, you'll see program providers like isa, use axii a those are the program providers and I'm talking about and their third party vendors that just like I said.
Offer a wide, even wider range of programs available.
Each of these programs that are offered do have a variety of housing, accommodations, classroom experiences, field work opportunities, internship placements, and so on.
So we have our first program provider.
So it's not a program provider. Excuse me at the CSU Exchange University.
And this exchange University is a semester long program. It's located in Sydney for the language English is spoken.
Although it is, it's a different culture, but English is spoken here in Sydney and then so on. Campus housing or off campus apartments are the housing accommodations.
So this campus is located on a 300 acre Parkland, 30 minutes North of Sydney. Australia is in the suburban area. the University has its own dedicated train station for easy access into Sydney and its walking distance from major shopping centers. So again, this is a CSU exchange program.
Next University have is 'cause I gotta ride and this is also another exchange program.
The program this program really provides students the opportunity to explore Japan and Asian studies through the classroom instruction and interaction with Japanese people and students and culture.
So it's it's a semester long program.
And then the housing is with like a Japanese family, so it'll be a host, sorry, homestay.
It is home to over 400,000 residents situated just one hour from Osaka.
And which is Jeff, Japan's second largest business hub? So this is a very popular student. Very popular program among students.
And so this, if you're interested in checking out Japan and checking out this this program, this is just an option available too, but this is a semester long program.
Next we have an ISA prog.
And the Czech Republic. So this is an example of what I was referring to before as the program affiliate. As you can see, the program provider is isa and this is a semester long program. It's in prog, although check speaking, it's check speaking students can get around with English and very flexible, very different cultures that are there.
And so in terms of housing, there's off campus housing in off campus apartments.
I do have a lot of fun fact about Prague. Prague is the capital and largest city in the Czech Republic, the 14th largest city in the Yep the 14th largest city in the European Union.
And then we have another pretty popular is very popular. Programs are total Santos Center.
This is an example of a staff and faculty LED program, so it's a shorter term program. There are some other shorter term programs as well that our faculty and staff, but I'm just going to list a few fish, wildlife, and conservation biology. It's a semester long program in total Santos. There's a liberal arts and community engagement in total Santos.
And there's an ocean Oceanography Program, a sustainable travel in alternative tourism program and ventures and social entrepreneurship. So those are all end in Mexico and the total Santos enter Mexico or I should say total Santos Mexico.
And I've talked to. I don't advise for for this program, but I have talked to call my colleague who does advise for this program. One of my colleagues and they have nothing but good things to say about how how students really find this popular. This popular program to be very, very helpful in their journey, especially related to their major.
So that is just an example and a little bit about it. So students will have the opportunity to enjoy this quiet town that's just a mile from beaches in the Pacific Ocean.
The Spring Semester Program will be rich with excursions, an experiential learning opportunities in total Santos.
The students will also visit diverse ecosystems, including the Pacific Ocean and desert, as well as mountains.
So that takes care of Justice from examples of what are the different types of programs that we offer. I mean, there are plenty more, but we wanted to give you a snapshot so at least you kind of know. OK, this is an exchange program. This is a semester based program. This is the staff and faculty LED program, so I hope that was helpful.
Next we will journey into how to choose your program. So as you consider your program, there are a lot of things to consider. First and foremost, I would encourage you all to be as proactive as possible.
I know that there are there are many students that are wanting to study abroad and just trying to figure out where to get started. If you have questions or curiosity or you're like you know what, I'm a first year student. I know that I don't want to study abroad until I'm a sophomore, but I do want to come into that. I do want to talk with the education abroad coordinator about.
What are my next steps? How do I get started? How do I explore programs? That's like the first? Like, really, really important step, because sometimes I will find in certain cases if a student were to wait a little too late, everything just seems so rushed as they try to get their education abroad experience. Then you know, in hindsight, if you know there's opportunities for them to have talked with an education abroad.
Coordinator much sooner there have. There would have just been so much ease of pressure, but then also it's just helpful all around because you're trying to graduate. You're trying to stay on track with your graduation, but then you're also carving in an education abroad opportunity in a different country. So many things to think about.
But as you think about choosing your program, you want to consider academics. You want to consider cost, and you want to consider your goals. These are all important and we like to help you get there so.
You know we want to also make sure that you are exploring. Like you know what interest you. What are some of those unique needs? And so we go through all of that during our advising meetings with students.
OK, so we have the program price ranges, so this is just an example of kind of a ballpark or price range based on some of the program types. So as you can see, short-term programs range anywhere between 3 to 8000 and then we have some of our regional programs that are in Europe and Latin America and.
Africa and semester at sea.
Or Oceana dot half program ranges. And as you can see for for semester at sea, that program is does typically cost a lot more. It could. It's yeah, 20,000 and up.
But semester at sea, they do have a lot of automatic discounts and then also of course.
Financial aid is an option for all for everyone that wants to participate on these programs as well.
So Colorado rest if you're a Colorado resident a lot of our education abroad programs for a semester could could fit within that 14,000 'cause that is like a typical we say estimate of what a Colorado resident pays at CSU 14,000, so as you can see, there range, a lot of programs do you kind of fit into that that 12 to 16,000?
OK, so you are probably at this point wandering about.
Earning CSU or transfer credits from your abroad experience?
And this is one of the biggest questions we actually get. So this question depends on the type of program you are in. But of course we are here to help you walk through that process. So CSU offers over 100 programs that give CSU credits. Students can easily see if their credits will work within their degree.
And this is how you do it. So for transfer credits, there are two really important steps to ensure credits will work within your degree. First you have to have your coursework that the courses that you would like to take while you're abroad. You have to have them reviewed by the registrar's office.
The Registrar's office now will determine how, like how many credits each work each course is worth.
And if it will fulfill an upper division or a lower division credit.
After that process is approved by the registrar's office, the next step is getting your academic advisor or academic Department to approve your coursework.
And with after these approvals have been finalized by the registrar's office and buy your academic Department or academic advisor.
It's a matter of now submitting the final form with signatures to our office or electronically. I should say to our office, but that helps you now. No, it's not a matter of if they transfers transfer back, it's how they transfer back and we honestly would love those credits to transfer back within your major, because then it helps. It helps you fulfill.
You know in stay on track with graduation.
And then you know you have elective courses that you'd like to burn and use up like you have an abundant number of elective courses. This is also a good opportunity to use those elective courses as well.
And then once you decided on a program your education abroad coordinator will advise you on those next steps. So I'll go over some of the next steps in a later slide. But those are the approval pieces that you would need in order to find out how the credits that you want to take abroad will not transfer back within your major.
So these are some pretty key people that you will be in contact with and working with as you start exploring in planning your education abroad opportunity.
So you'll be working with your education abroad coordinator.
Your program advisor or CSU faculty or staff group leader and then your CSU academic advisor or advisors and or the academic success coordinator if you have one.
These are going to be really key components to your education abroad experience and these three people will really, really help guide you and support you along your education. Broad process.
As I said before, that very first in critical step is to start having conversations with these parties. Having a conversation with your academic advisor, telling them, You know, I really would love to study abroad.
Meeting with the education abroad coordinator and letting us know what you're thinking about, what term you're planning to go abroad. You know what's your major and how we could find programs that tailored to your major.
So next we will talk about the financial aid advising.
So we have a dedicated person in the financial aid sector for education abroad. Her name is Cindy Maris and we encourage everyone to go and talk to her.
Cindy can look at your current financial aid grants loans.
So she can look at your financial aid. She can look at grants, loans, any scholarships that you have received.
And give you an idea for how much money you have to go abroad. The good news is for those that need it, 99% of their of your CSU financial aid can go abroad with you as well as scholarships and grants as well. But as but we know that 99% of your financial aid abroad or your financial aid can go abroad with them.
It's a good idea to talk to your financial aid advisor before you choose a program so that they can give you a better idea of like.
What's your budget? Based on your budget, what program should you be exploring and also based on your financial aid? What are some programs that you can take an opportunity to further explore?
You know how much aid is going to cover your education abroad experience and then whatever is not covered? How can we explore other resources?
Which brings me into the next slide, which is scholarships. So I would highly encourage everyone to take advantage of contacting the financial aid advising office. Cindy can be reached at specialprograms@colostate.edu, and there's also a really great financial aid information video worth checking out, even as you're in the process of setting up an appointment.
So scholarships the best advice when applying for scholarships is to know the deadlines.
At the very end of the slide I also let me run scholarship. Sorry about that y'all. There you go.
I am a dual screen setup here, so as I said before, scholar scholarship deadlines is the key. No scholarship deadlines be scholarship deadlines can also be located on our website as well and then down below I just apply. I just attach see education abroad events For more information. We do have education abroad events and workshops that we host. We do scholarship one.
101 we do workshops on crowdfunding. Another means of funding your education abroad experiences beyond financial aid and scholarships. So that is a really good link to know into. Click on when you have time just to see what's coming up for fall semester. I know we've just completed about two or three.
And yeah, so this is very helpful timeline here and you should just make sure you note that so it's based on your term. If you're planning to study abroad in the summer, the deadline would be March 1st, so forth and so on.
OK, so now we have our education and broad coordinators that you will meet with once. Once you get a schedule, a date on the schedule.
So we have we have different coordinators that are broken up into different regions. So as you will see me Sade, I am for Spain and Portugal.
Then we have also for students that are looking to.
Possibly pursue internships. My colleague Christopher. He works on research abroad and internship.
And so these are just some of the.
The familiar faces that that you will get to know if you're planning to participate in education abroad opportunity and then of course there's a lot of popularity with semester at sea. So my colleague Nicole she advises for semester at sea as well as Latin America, so I won't go through all the names in all the regions because they are here for you to see yourself, but I just want you to get a general idea of.
Who advised her? Which reason region so that when you're ready to make an appointment, you know who to go to based on your region of interest.
I would encourage you to plan out what classes you will need to graduate. This would involve a conversation with your academic advisor so that you can set up a grad plan if you want to be extremely proactive. It's it's also a good idea to kind of.
You know when your meeting with your academic advisor request to kind of plan out.
What are two more my years going to look like? What are four more semesters of my of my grad plan? What is that gonna look like with my education abroad experience? Part of my grand plan.
And then I would highly encourage that you watched the education abroad 101.
This can also be found on our website as well. It we have two of our peer colleagues that do such a phenomenal job to walk individuals through the website of our education abroad website as well as exploring programs exploring program types.
Research your programs on line and then make an appointment with an education abroad coordinator. So couple steps to do to get you prepared in the mindset and having the communication to now talk with the education abroad coordinator.
And then meet with the financial aid counselor Cindy who I just talked about.
And then apply for programs and scholarships. So scholarships can also be a bit found. Like I said on our website. But when you are meeting with the education abroad coordinator, they're going to walk you through how to get to. The scholarships are going to talk to you a little bit more about some of our education abroad scholarships, so just know when you meet with us one on one. We're going to go over that like actually how to get to that application.
And then yeah, so those are. Those are the next steps in the most important steps.
So we're coming to an end to the presentation, but I did want to make sure that I included the steps for how to schedule a meeting with us, which is very important in a meeting with education abroad coordinators.
We've because of the pandemic. We've definitely become virtual, but we are still having in person appointments as well, so I provided some steps you'll need to visit the international dot colostate.
Dot Edu Slash Education abroad site.
And then you're going to actually click about.
And then it's slash cop contact education abroad on the top ribbon.
Third step, you're going to review the information to Scroll down and click the box. Schedule your appointment. You know become very easy once you get on the education abroad site, but this is how you really schedule a meeting with an education abroad coordinator. We are always very open in welcome and delighted to meet with students who are exploring education abroad opportunities and also.
Maybe exploring other other things that maybe you hadn't thought about in the 1st place. So this is how you would schedule a meeting with us.
So, so without further ado, I would like to now open it up for questions I. I'm assuming that some of you maybe have questions or maybe something that I didn't cover or you would like me to elaborate on. I'd like to open it up for questions we have about 13 minutes left, 12 to 13 minutes left. So I want to be cognizant of time, but please feel free to ask questions and in George, feel free to read those questions off to me as well.
Jackson Wolf
10:48:40 AM
Can you clarify whether the cost of a EA program is on top of tuition or in place of it if during the school year?
And also I can I can see right here as well.
OK, so I think I I do see it so never mind George.
So Jackson, thank you for your question. Can you clarify whether the cost of an education abroad program is on the top of tuition? Oh is on top of tuition or in place.
Or in place of it during the school year? Yeah, good question, Jackson, thank you.
So the really great thing about our programs is that.
Whatever the cost of tuition would be for an education abroad program, that's the tuition that he would be pain.
So you so if your education abroad program in Spain cost 14,000, that's how much you would be paying for tuition would be 14,000.
And it honestly also depends on your program type. I mean, I've advised students that have studied abroad in Spain and their program was like 12,000 and they ended up paying 12,000. So that was like less than their education. I mean then then their tuition at CSU.
Now that tuition for most programs, it includes your room and board like.

Great, thanks!
A lot of program providers they include, like your housing accommodations, but some don't, so it's really important to be aware of that when you're exploring programs, because sometimes it depends on the region, and it depends on the program. But sometimes like homestays will be an additional cost, but then the program provider will be like Oh, University apartment is included in your tuition.
So those are just things to lookout for, but yeah, really good question.
And then I would also say like your flight is not included, so your flight you would have to pay on your own.
I would say for some programs, well, a lot of programs, they have a batch visa services, so if your region if your country that you're entering requires that you have a visa.
And a passport like passport of course would be out of pocket out of your pocket. For visas, the programs have a built in batch visa process where someone goes to the consulate on your behalf to get that Visa, and I've seen that for some programs those services are also included in your tuition rate as well.
Yeah, good question. Thanks for asking Jackson.

What majors are most popular for going on Semester at Sea?
We have about 9 minutes, so I'm up for more questions OK?
What majors are popular for going on semester at sea? Yeah, that's also a good question because I don't advise for semester at sea. I'm going to be a little limited in knowing what programs are popular for semester at sea and it also is a bit individualize. So based on your major there could be some really popular programs for semester at sea. I would include encourage you Molly too.
For #1, go on the recommended program list and see search by College.
And see if there are any programs related to semester at sea or or are apart of semester. I see that are come up in that list.
And then if you don't see that when you're when you go into our education abroad site and you start to search, do it like use our search engine. You can search based on your major and that should pull some relevant programs. The other thing I would encourage you to do is to in the search engine you can also kind of filter program. So you could just select semester I see and you can see all the programs that are.
There are like you can see what's included for semester at sea.
And then the act, the education abroad coordinator Nicole my colleague. She advises for semester at sea so she knows so much about it and she can really meet with you and talk to you about some of your goals, your aspirations, your major, and how the semester at sea would be a really good fit for you based on when you would like to study. So those are some of the things that I would go ahead with.
On your own and then you can also talk with the education abroad coordinator as well.
But yeah, that that's a It's a really popular in a really unique program, and so that's why we have. We have someone solely dedicated to semester at sea to talk to students.
Is there any other questions I can clarify address? We have about 8 minutes left.

Off-topic and I Apologies.
I'm planning to apply for next at Colorado State University for Data Science. It would be great for me if I could learn more about data science at CSU. Like CGPA requirements, what GRE scores are, and so on.
OK, we have another question here.
I am planning to apply for.
For applied next for next at Colorado State University. For data science it would be great for me if I could learn more about data science at CSU.
The GPA requirements would RG RE scores and so on OK?
So good question. I would if I would encourage you to connect with an admissions coordinator.
Those types of requirements, especially for Colorado state's data science.
And they would also direct you to advisors academic advisors that are for that particular major.

Aahil: Here's how to connect with a CSU Admissions Counselor: https://admissions.colostate.edu/find-your-counselor/
And so after this, after this meeting today, or when you have time today, I would reach out to an admissions coordinator or advisor. Maybe someone that has orchestrated these sessions.
And or thank you, my colleague is on top of it. He has indicated a link for you to go to to to connect with the counselor to talk to you more about that.
Thank you George, I appreciate that.

How many credits can be earned in a typical EA semester?
Aahil Rashid
10:56:01 AM
Thank you, George.
OK, we are 5 minutes till 11. OK I have a Jason. He asked how many credits can be earned in a typical EA semester. Yep good question to 12 is the minimum so it be like you being a full time student at CSU. You would have to remain full time status while you're abroad. The minimum is 12 credits. Most programs are 12 credits. I've seen some programs 12 to 15.

Thanks!
And I even seen some programs 18 wouldn't encourage 18. That's a lot. You still want to have a good time while you're abroad.
But yeah, I've seen so 12 is minimum. I've seen students that have taken in anywhere between 12 and 15.
But I can answer 1 final question if there are any left.
